| Study and diagnosis |
 |
| The origin of the various pathologies
is unique in every case. Accordingly, Ergodinámica
Centres concentrate on carrying out a comprehensive study
of the patient to obtain the necessary data that enable
a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. The focus is
on discovering the mechanical causes for the alteration
of the body’s equilibrium and exploring where, how
and why certain pathologies appear in one’s movements
to compensate for this disequilibrium. |
 |
| The study begins by learning the habits
and lifestyle of the patient, as well as what he or she
hopes to achieve with the treatment. Afterwards, an overall
assessment of the patient’s physical, muscle,
joint and tendon state is conducted. |
 |
| The second phase consists of a dynamic
study, walking and running, of the patient. This
analysis is centred upon the biomechanical assessment
of any alterations or deviations of the lower extremities’
axes that move us away from established standards, such
as the study of self-corrections, or more specifically,
postures, gestures and movements that the patient adopts
to prevent the body’s disequilibrium from causing
injuries. |
 |
| The process is completed with a static
physical evaluation of the patient’s musculoskeletal
state, focusing on the alterations observed during the
dynamic study. All of this information allows us to complete
an assessment of the conditions to which the patient is
susceptible or those that have already developed as a
consequence of these alterations. |
